WHEE…!#$%*@? is a one-act play about a representative white couple born in America in 1963/64. As they slowly realize there is no culture nor binding force(s) beyond individual desire and expectation, they become ever more confused and frustrated. Rather than wallow in regret & remorse, this couple changes the story. After identifying the missing pieces in their community they re-imagine & reconstruct rituals, celebrations, ways of living anew for the next generation.

Whee…!#$%*@? Ride of a Lifetime A Play in One Act

Meaningful Trainings partners, Blair Jennings & Fell Cadwallader have created a powerful conversation starter!
WHEE...!#$%*@? presents a roller coaster rendition of a shared lifetime. Exploring the dynamics that challenge each of us, this resource serves as a reminder to have the Meaningful Conversations that investigate the effects of and offer instruction for the moments that contrive to create inter-generational connection. As part of our MTPro Bono Publico offerings, we present this one-act play (approximately 50 minutes stage time) to communities seeking a catalyst for discussions. As such there is no cost associated. For each presentation we also include a pre- and post- presentation engagement prompts to explore the topics within the play: offering space to audience participants to voice their musings. In the end WHEE...!#$%*@? provides a thoughtfully constructed & presented vehicle for both refection and imagination about the timeless dynamics that shape our lives. "thought provoking art" |
